Evolving Skies is starting to be stable at $1500 a box! Will it hit $2000 a box this year?

Evoling Skies continues to inch towards the $2000 box price which some predicted it could hit this price point this year. With now the proven track record of success of eevolutions with the release of SV Prismatic Evolutions, Evolving Skies is still on a steady pace to hit $2000 a box sooner rather than later. The set was released in 2021 and was part of Pokemon's great product dump at the end of 2021 The box for this set was selling at $105-$110/box at that time. Supply was so abundant that it truly felt like the concept of Pokemon Investing just went belly up! 

The supply did not matter though as it took only a month for it to slowly but surely creep up in price. At the time of the dump, modern sealed investing was being as labeled dead! With many sets including Chilling Reign and Fusion strike hitting low $85/box and with many retailers trying to dump as much as they can! 

With being the top set from an entire block and containing the card that is the icon for modern day Pokemon INvesting (Moonbreon), I won't be surprised to see Evolving Skies track TeamUp in terms of pricing with it being worth $4000-$5000 a box in a few years.
