SV Paradox Rift was one of the sets that people did not care about because of the gloomy start of the Scarlet and Violet block. With the surge in prices in SV Booster boxes, I decided to snoop around and check out the set composition of each set. One of the sets that stood out was Paradox Rift. The number of Illustration Rares alone should translate to a strong overall value of the set and I don't understand why this is not yet a $200 booster box. The huge interest in illustration rares has pushed a lot of the box prices for SV and there is no reason for a set like Paradox and even Temporal Forces to be labeled as "bad" set. Even during my visit to Collect-a-con LA, I was looking forward to trading my slabs for Paradox Rift.
Almost every box from Scarlet and Violet has something to offer and these illustration rares that don't feature chase Pokemon are never not a collectible. Regardless of what Pokemon does to Illustration rares in the future. All the current illustration rares will have interest from collectors. The art is just so good and the variety is just right with this set.
Anyone who thinks that a set like Paradox Rift is worthless is just insane or has no clue!
